Description
We've got what you need! Skytrek is where tandem hang gliding all began in New Zealand. The company pioneered the adventure sport here !
Fly like a bird and experience total freedom in a way you never have before. Skytrek is NZ's only aerotow hang gliding experience which gives you double the flight of conventional hang glider launching, allowing you to experience being towed by a tow plane to a height of your choice.
Tandem Hang Gliding next to the mighty Pisa Range. We use a small aircraft called a 'tug' to pull the hang glider into the sky with pilot and passenger. Fly up to 4000 ft above beautiful pristine New Zealand landscape.
- Longest flight time in New Zealand!
- Less weather dependant than foot launched hang gliding
- Passengers relax and enjoy the experience, no running required.
CAA Approved Adventure Aviation part 115 Operator since 2011.
Our friendly and professional team of tandem pilots are highly experienced and will ensure your experience will be one to remember! Skytrek pioneered tandem Hang Gliding in New Zealand and has been established for over 20 years and during that time we have flown over 75,000 customers.
Co-owner and pilot Ian Clark 2011 NZ Hang Gliding National Champion. Co-owner and pilot Shai Lanuel most experienced paragliding instructor in New Zealand. Let our internationally qualified tandem pilots show you what it's like to fly like a bird.
